I'm a traditional Artist and a Soldier in the United Stated Army. My artwork has been displayed in several galleries throughout the United States and Canada. I've been asked how being a Soldier balances with the Artist in me. The two are more similar that one might think. An artist is much like a scout. Each commission sets me to purpose exploring a subject with the hope I find some hidden truth which hasn't already been reported. It requires a trained eye and the will to travel further than any other in order to return with that sliver of truth. An Artist, much like a scout, hopes the truth they uncover can tell a story. I hope you enjoy the stories my pictures tell. I had to look hard for the truths they contain.
